Stuart is a keen aircraft photographer. Living near RAF Brize Norton, the variety of visiting aircraft together with those based at Brize makes for interesting aircraft photography. Living about thirty minutes drive from RAF Fairford, a base used by the United States air force here are often visits by U2 spy planes, B1B Lancers and occasionally Boeing B52 bombers. Fairford is also the home of the annual RIAT air show.

Recently Stuart has visited The Mach Loop. An area in Snowdonia used for low flying training of fast jets as well as some bigger aircraft. This has to be one of the best places to photograph air craft in this country.
